To all LSCCF Members and Friends:

The Public Meeting that we requested with the DEC took place on Jan 6th, 2021. We are including the video that was recorded of that meeting. Our participants in the meeting included members, LSCCF Directors, and Vermont State legislators , including State Senator Brian Collamore, Robin Chesnut-Tangerman, and Sally Achey, plus Well Select board Chair Don Preuss.

We demonstrated STRONG community support for our Permit request, and formally objected to scientifically invalid data, the DEC’s failure to fulfill The Public Trust Doctrine for uses of our water to maintain excellent boating, fishing, and swimming , and other sections of the Draft Denial as written.

We strongly encourage you to take the time and watch the video.

It is imperative that the we have public support behind this permit. If not the precedent will be set for the State of    Vermont to deny any future permits for aeration.
